By accessing or using the website at concretecastrovalley.com, or by requesting or receiving services from DAL Castro Valley Concrete ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.
DAL Castro Valley Concrete is a licensed concrete contractor based in Castro Valley, CA. We provide residential and commercial concrete services including, but not limited to, driveway installation, patio construction, sidewalk building, retaining walls, foundation work, stamped concrete, and related services. The specific scope of any project is defined in a written estimate or contract signed by both parties before work begins.
All estimates are based on information available at the time of the on-site visit or initial assessment. Estimates are not binding contracts. Final pricing is confirmed in a written proposal or contract presented before work begins.
Price adjustments may occur if conditions discovered during the project differ materially from what was assessed at the time of the estimate. Examples include unforeseen site conditions, changes in material costs, or project scope changes requested by the customer. We will notify you before proceeding with any work that would result in additional costs.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise in writing.
Project start dates are scheduled after a signed contract and any required deposit are received. Start dates may be subject to change due to weather conditions, permit delays, material availability, or other circumstances outside our control. We will communicate any scheduling changes as promptly as possible.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us at least 5 business days in advance. Cancellations with less than 5 business days notice may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid, depending on materials already ordered or work already performed.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to rain, extreme temperatures, or other conditions that would compromise the quality of the finished concrete. Concrete should not be poured in heavy rain or near-freezing temperatures.
Payment terms are specified in the written contract for each project. In general, a deposit is required to reserve your project on our schedule, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Specific payment milestones may vary by project size.
Payment is due upon completion of the work described in the contract unless alternative terms are specified in writing. Unpaid balances may be subject to a late fee and, if necessary, collection action.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the estimate process. We reserve the right to place a mechanic's lien on the property for unpaid balances in accordance with California law.
Before work begins, you are responsible for:
After concrete is poured, you are responsible for keeping the work area free of vehicle traffic for the time period specified by your contractor. Driving on fresh concrete too soon can cause permanent surface damage that is not covered under any warranty.
We stand behind the quality of our work. Any specific warranty terms offered on a project will be stated in writing in the project contract.
Concrete is a natural material subject to cracking, discoloration, and surface wear over time. Minor hairline cracks, color variation, and surface texture differences are normal characteristics of concrete and do not constitute defects. Warranty claims related to conditions caused by soil movement, tree roots, improper use, or failure to follow post-installation care instructions are not covered.
